    Research Activities

    The group works in the field of genetic toxicology with an emphasis on mechanisms of action of carcinogenic agents.

    Topics of current projects:

    • Genomic damage through endogenous hormones like insulin and genomic damage associated with obesity
    • Sensitivity of hematopoietic stem cells for genomic damage
    • Genotoxic and antigenotoxic effects of phyto-compounds
    • Analysis of electromagnetic fields (mobile phone and terahertz-frequencies) for their potential to induce genomic damage
